Introduction
This manual contains a comprehensive compilation of job descriptions, contracts containing benefit packages, and evaluation expectations and forms for teachers and all jobs related to the teaching contract, or affected by negotiated benefits of teachers.
The manual references some terms which should be defined:
Executive Team
Refers to the Superintendent and the Secretary Treasurer
MSBA
Refers to Manitoba School Boards Association (formerly MAST)
Board or School Board
Refers to the elected Trustees of the Southwest Horizon School Division
Committee of the Whole
Refers to a meeting of the elected Trustees where items are discussed before being passed onto a formal board meeting.
