PYPC Step 2 Group Facilitator Positions
If you enjoy working with parents/caregivers and their children ages 1-4 years and would be
interested in facilitating a parent-child program in your community and/or surrounding communities
on a part time basis, this may be the job for you! PYPC is looking for enthusiastic, caring,
responsible Facilitators to run our signature “Step 2” programs, two mornings/month, Oct. – May (14
sessions). Training and ongoing support is provided. PROMISE Years Parent Child Coalition is

If you are a teacher who is duly certified in the Province of Manitoba, or a student who has convocated but not yet been certified by Teacher Certification Branch, and wish to be added to our substitute teacher list, please supply us with the following:
A completed Substitute Teaching Application form.
A photocopy of your Manitoba Teaching Certificate
A completed Application for Direct Payroll Deposit form
Current Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
A Respect in Schools completion certificate
An Accessible Customer Service completion certificate
Completed TD1 Federal and TD1MB forms
Completed Pledge of Confidentiality form
Please note: Bachelor of Education students awaiting convocation must provide a letter of verification from Professional Certification stating that they are eligible for employment.
Student Teachers will also need to provide a letter of permission from the office of the Dean at their University.
For the record checks you need to provide a current criminal record and child abuse check (please see our website Administrative Procedure 5-05 - Criminal Record/Child abuse Registry Checks).
If you already have these records, we will accept copies, as long as they are less than 6 months old. If you do not have any records you need to obtain a Criminal Record Check by filling in the form at your local RCMP/constabulary office.
A Child Abuse Registry self-check can be done by downloading the forms from the Adult and Child Abuse Registry Website.

Substitute School Bus Drivers
Deloraine, Hartney, Melita, Pierson, Souris, Waskada, Wawanesa
Southwest Horizon School Division is now accepting applications for school bus drivers to provide safe and efficient transportation for students across our division. Training is provided and paid for to upgrade your license to Class 2 and for your school bus endorsement. Training Session dates still to be determined.
Spare or casual school bus drivers are an important part of our Transportation team. They are needed to fill in on routes & extra-curricular trips. Ride-along’s with permanent drivers are arranged, so that spare drivers are familiar with the route.
