Literacy with ICT (Information Communication Technology) means choosing and using ICT responsibly to communicate and to think creatively and critically in all subject areas. Literacy with ICT is not a separate technology course. It is the infusion of technology as a learning tool in all subject areas.
Students will be evaluated on the following competencies in March:
1. Demonstrates critical thinking with ICT while researching, sorting, organizing information and analyzing.
2. Demonstrates creative thinking with ICT while making presentations, creating audience appeal, revising final products and using graphics.
3. Demonstrates responsibility and ethics with ICT by showing respect, following copyright rules, following division policy, collaborating with others and considering effects on others.
