Jessie, a 13 year old girl from Elgin, MB has been diagnosed with Hodgkinís Disease, cancer of the lymph nodes. Jessie and her family travel to Winnipeg each week for doctor appointments & chemotherapy treatments. Family and friends are fundraising to help offset some of the expense of driving to Winnipeg every week. We are asking for pledges to shave our hair off in support of Jessie. Participants will be collecting over the next 2 ? weeks. Pledge forms may be picked up from Leanne Rolfe at the Souris School for anyone wishing to participate in the Shavethon. It will take place at the fundraising BBQ on September 27th @ the Souris Park from 4:00 ñ 6:00 p.m.
If you have been missed and would like to make a pledge or have any questions, please call Chris Swaenepoel 483-3067 or Debbie Sherritt 483-2245.
