Career & Technology Studies:  Industrial Technology Cluster

 

The Industrial Technology Cluster has been designed to allow students the opportunity to study and experience several different Career Paths. 

 

This cluster allows students to complete curriculum studies from current technical and trade related studies.  Then a student is matched with an actual employment site to experience what the career is all about in the work place. 

 

Students will complete anywhere from 35-50 hours of course work, then spend anywhere from 60-75 hours at the job site in order to complete these courses. 

 

Students will be responsible for completing a Career Portfolio in this program.

 

This program consists of the following courses:

 

  • Drafting Design Technology 10G, 20G, 30S and 40S

 

  • Power Mechanics 10G

 

  • Power mechanics 20S

 

  • Applied Technology (Drafting 40S)

 

  • Intro to CAD 30S

 

  • Advanced CAD 40S

 

  • Intro to Auto Body 10S

 

  • Applied Auto Body 40S

 

  • Intro to Welding 10S

 

  • Intro to MIG 30S

 

  • Applied Welding 40S
