Southwest Horizon School Division is pleased to announce our partnership with Penn West Exploration in promoting the SAIT Production Field Operator Program (PFO) in our Senior Years. 

Penn West Exploration has offered a generous Scholarship/Opportunity fund to support students interested in taking the online PFO Certificate course from SAIT in Calgary, Alberta. 

The program provides students with college certification designed to prepare them for a career working in the production area of the energy sector.  Careers in this area entail long-term positions and this program is recognized by a number of companies in energy production which prepares students to enter this vibrant sector of the economy upon graduation.

The PFO Program is part of our effort to develop multiple pathways for our students, and we are very excited to offer this program in conjunction with Penn West Exploration and SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary, Alberta to the students of Southwest Horizon School Division.
